How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Titan Chain twist link chains on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. Our Titan Chain chains are twist link style, and as you can see, you have chain links that are twisted and what that does for you, it allows you to get better traction in ice, snow, and mud. These guys are rated for on road. The material is a steel alloy that's designed to hold up against corrosion and the elements and salt, like you can see that's in the tread of our truck here. The way that it secures are gonna be links on the rear and a latch on the front. With the size tire that we have, the 255/70R17, it was a lot of slack on the chain, so I would suggest adding a rubber adjuster, that's gonna help pull the tension towards the middle. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Titan Chains Roller Link Cable Chains on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. Our roller links are gonna be your economy option, and, generally speaking, this is gonna be something that you keep in your vehicle for a worst case scenario if you need it, kind of along the lines of a spare tire. If you use 'em, you're not gonna have a very long life out of them. However, they are definitely better than nothing to add additional traction in light snow and light ice. As far as the clearance, out of all of the cables I've done today in tire chains, this is gonna have the lowest clearance behind the vehicle, behind the wheel, on the inside of the wheel well, you're not making contact with anything. It's really tight against the wheel. more

Today we have our tire size at 235/55R18 on the rear axle of our vehicle. You always wanted to make sure that you're checking the manufacturer's requirement as far as where you should install your tire chains, and you wanna make sure that they are compliant with the back of your area in your wheel well. Well, so with that being said, let's take a look at some of the features on these chains. So these are gonna have square links and a diamond pattern. What that does for you, the square links are gonna help bite into that deep snow and ice a little bit better, and the diamond pattern is gonna allow you to maneuver better in situations as far as curvy roads, when you move to the edge in between each of these links, they're actually little bars that are gonna help break through on the that ice. more

So our XG-12 is a diamond pattern chain, so that's gonna give you a lot more contours as far as traction on the sides for twisty, turny roads. So with this, that's gonna work in conjunction with the square links that you have here that's constructed of nickel-manganese steel alloy. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Konig K-Summit XL Tire Chains on our 2023 Audi Q3. Now, these particular chains are a diamond pattern with square link, and what that's gonna do for you is work for you in those light, icy conditions, not really for off road. What makes this as unique is the fact that you have zero contact behind your vehicle in a wheel well. So you don't have to worry about running into any interference behind the wheel. And it's raised up away from your rim, so you don't have to worry about your chains making contact. It is self-tensioning, and requires a little bit more setup on the beginning end, but once you have it set up at home, getting it installed on your vehicle is super easy. more

Titan Chain Tire Chains Review - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain Diamond HD snow tire chains and I'll also show you how to install them here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These tire chains are gonna be the heavy duty version of the Titan Chain diamond alloy snow chains. So that means they're gonna have larger links for more traction, which is awesome, except you do have to be very careful about which type of tire and wheel you have on your Silverado 2500 because there are brake components and suspension components back there that may not give you much clearance to work with. So double check yours. Our tire size today is 275/65 R20, which is the one with limited clearance, but it also depends on the truck. So if you have a different tire size, you may have better chances with those. more

Titan Chain Tire Chains Review - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 TC2335- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we're gonna be taking a look at how to install as well as discuss the different features of this Titan Chain Diamond Snow Tire Chains. We're gonna see how it fits here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. This is probably gonna be one of my favorite chains to recommend because it's very easy to install, as well as it has some solid features there that give you great traction in snowy conditions. Now, double check your tire size though, on your Silverado, just because we have higher size 275/65R20, and according to the owner's manual, this has limited wheel clearance, behind the tire, so you do have to get or be very intentional about what type of traction devices you use. If you do have to use tire chains, install them on that rear axle, these are gonna be very small chain sizes, which is why I feel a bit more comfortable with recommending them. But also for emergency situations, some places require that you have chains in your truck and these are gonna be very fast to put on, which is why I also recommend them. more

Now be very careful with tire chains though because you have to make sure you have enough clearance behind your tire on your truck.
